Hi, I’m Jane Ranzman.

Harvard MBA and Columbia Teachers College TESOL Certified. Global Business English Coach

I am the Founder and Principal of MASTERING BUSINESS ENGLISH FOR EXECUTIVES, a global boutique consulting firm based in New York City, training high-level international executives who speak English as their second language. I work with senior executives facilitating business conversations in English, helping them to bring strategic, innovative thinking and leadership skills to world-class organizations.

Working in the C-suite of a multinational company with English-speaking employees, clients, and investors can be challenging. I know you want to improve your ability to communicate confidently in English, still the global language of business, to be a better manager and leader. I believe conventional teaching methods have left a significant gap that we strive to meet with high-level facilitated business English conversations. To that end, I have launched a private practice specializing in the intersection of language and business.

MY JOURNEY TO HELPING OTHERS MASTER COMMUNICATION

My education includes a BA and MBA from Harvard University and a certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Columbia University Teachers College. I have held senior-level positions in magazine publishing, entertainment, and media. My career has spanned magazine publishing, entertainment, and media with senior-level positions, including The Billboard Music Group, American Baby Group, KPMG, and CBS.

As an independent consultant, I founded Ranzman Marketing Consulting and have helped companies increase top-line revenue through a combined focus on branding, strategy, and business communications.  As an adjunct faculty member at Mercy College, I taught business communication skills and currently serve on the faculty of a leading global language private school. I am an avid traveler, fiction writer, and serve as mother of a pandemic Yorkie puppy Beau, who barks in his own universal language.

MY APPROACH

My unique method is based on a Harvard Business School model which is a participatory, discussion-based way of learning. My clients enhance their skills in conversation, intercultural communications, critical thinking, negotiation, and managing group dynamics in the language and culture of American English.
